 Infection with a parasite can cause symptoms that are sometimes severe and sometimes mild. But what happens in the body, which defense stages are initiated when the uninvited guest makes itself comfortable in the immune system? What are the tasks of enzymes, phagocytes, helper cells, plasma cells, skin, mucous membranes... The students must assign the individual components to the respective defense stages, which will ultimately give them a clear overview of the immune reaction.
