Description
The "Thermoregulation" experiment is designed to investigate why otters do not freeze in water and in cold climates. Using a real otter's fur, students will feel on their own skin what a difference it makes to have fur as thick as that of an otter. A red dot thermometer is used to measure the temperature in order to obtain accurate results. But what could distort accurate results? This will be asked again at the end of the experiment.
