 The students are asked to investigate the cause of death of a seal based on the autopsy report. To do this, they compare the symptoms of the various viruses: herpes, morbillivirus, influenza A and bacteriophage and look for clues in the autopsy report. At the same time, they learn about the concept of primary and secondary infections.
